You Are Doing Well

When was the last time you truly paused and told yourself, "I am doing well".

Not in a loud, boastful way, but in a quiet, reassuring voice—the kind that sinks into your soul and reminds you that, despite everything, you are making progress.

Life moves fast. It often feels like we are racing against unseen deadlines, measuring ourselves against milestones that society has set.

We compare, we criticize, we push ourselves harder—sometimes forgetting that simply surviving, growing, and showing up every day is already a victory.

But today, let me remind you: You are doing well.

You Are Doing Well, Even If…

  • You are still piecing your life together, one small step at a time.

  • You wake up some mornings feeling unsure, but you get up anyway.

  • You carry silent battles that no one else sees, yet you keep pushing forward.

  • You have taken detours and unexpected pauses, but you’re still on your journey.

I used to think that progress had to be loud and visible. That if people couldn’t see it, then maybe it wasn’t real. But now I know that some of the greatest growth happens in silence.

The Unseen Victories

You don’t give yourself enough credit. And I know this because I didn’t either.

Think about it—when was the last time you acknowledged how far you’ve come? When was the last time you celebrated the fact that you survived what was meant to break you?

  • The time you felt like giving up, but you didn’t.

  • The time you had to start over, but you did it with courage.

  • The way you keep showing up, even when you’re tired.

  • The quiet strength you carry, even when no one is watching.

These moments matter. These moments define you.

It’s Okay to Move at Your Own Pace

I used to feel like I was in a constant race. Like I needed to catch up with some invisible timeline. But I’ve learned that life is not a competition. The only person I need to be better than is the version of me from yesterday.

And maybe that version of me didn’t get everything right. Maybe she made mistakes. Maybe she took a little longer to heal. But she tried. She kept going. And for that, I am proud of her.

And I am proud of you too.

Be Gentle With Yourself

I know life gets overwhelming. I know it’s easy to feel like you’re not where you should be. But trust me—you are doing better than you think.

So, take a deep breath. Give yourself some grace. Stop being so hard on yourself.

You are trying. You are growing. You are learning. And even on the days when you feel stuck, you are still moving forward in ways you don’t even realize.

So, in case no one has told you today: You are doing well. Keep going. Your story is still unfolding, and the best chapters are yet to come.

  5. What stood out for me here is that the biggest success happens in silence. We often feel that if it's not loud for the world to see, we think it's not tangible. Thanks for this piece!

    1. Yup, I have learnt that. Also learnt to make peace with what gives. Because Jehovah sees, and He knows.
