 Let me start by saying something important: nobody warns you about adulthood properly. It Started Innocently. Everything was normal. I woke up, drank my tea, minded my business like a responsible citizen. Around midday, I felt pressed and off to the loo I went to do a number two. Five minutes after, my life changed. Chaos. The Moment of Realization Let me tell you something: when hemorrhoids arrive, they do not knock politely . They enter like an uninvited relative during Christmas. Suddenly sitting down is no longer an activity. It becomes a negotiation with destiny . I sat down. My body said: “Excuse me, who authorized this?” I stood up. Dear Women, leave so that you can live.

 Dear Women,

There is no award in heaven , maybe in hell anyways for the woman who suffered the most to keep her marraige. 

Do not stay in an abusive relationship just to keep up apperances.

Do not seek counsel from Pastors and Imams as their default solution to your problems is to PRAY.

There is a place for prayer, and there is a place for common sense.

Do not keep quiet when you are a victim of domestic, mental, emotional and anyhow violence.

Do not allow people to guilt trip or shame you in to thinking that divorce is never a way out.

Do not give people the power to decide what is BEST for YOU.

Do not allow yourself to be bullied into silence.

Any man of God, asking you to pray and suck it all in has plans to collect offering on the day of your funeral.

No, your friends can't take your place in the lives of your children.

Leave, so that you can live.

Things end, marriages end, people leave and guess what?? Life goes on!!

    This thing called 'Love' has different meanings for individuals.

    It's not until you are hit and battered that you leave a marriage, it's not only about the physical abuse but verbal and emotional abuse should not be neglected.

    What about gaslighting?

    We are all responsible for ourselves and most importantly one needs to be financially independent. 

    I keep advising ladies, to ensure they open a savings account that their spouse/partner isn't aware of to save for a rainy day.

    I completely agree with you 100% Mummy wa.

    And if the lady doesn't want divorce, there is what we call Separation, so be wise to separate for a period, pray from a far place while separated until you are convinced it's safe to return which can be dangerous

    We all need to be wise and take the right decisions..

  Every year, like clockwork, I wake up one morning, look in the mirror, and think: “Okay, this is the year. I’m gonna lose 10 kg and look like an accidental Greek statue on the beach.” Current status: 80 kg. Dream status: 70 kg.
