RANDOM MUSINGS

 

Hello people!!

I know I have been missing in action and that is because I have been busy. Work, more hectic than normal because some people clearly do not like peace and they try to foster that on the rest of us. 

So, I am usually knackered every evening and no time to write. Sigh. 

I just decided to put together some of my random thoughts: 

1. The people who send emails asking ''hope this meets you well'' what if I am tired and weak, no your email may not have met me well: keep it moving please 😑 

2. Making sure  your sacrifices are valued: you know when you give up something of value for the sake of other people. Be it family or friends, most times we expect gratitude. But think about it, how many times have we been told ''but I didn't ask you to''. When the people you are giving up stuff for, do not know what you have given up they can't appreciate it.

3. Learning to accept: you know how things don't always work out as planned...and then you keep beating yourself up wondering what you did not do right. Most times, we do/did everything right but it is what it is. Learning to accept that some situations may not change, but that God is omniscient.

4. On the issue of friends: I  tend to hear a lot of I talk to my best friend everyday, we don't go a day without video calling or chatting . Here I am, wondering if I don't like my friends but hell NO. I love my friends...my day ones, the ones who truly know and love me know we don't have to chat or talk everyday for the love to remain real. Shout out to my ladies who understand this. Please note, I am not in any way saying that talking everyday is doing too much. Jut do YOU, and do what works for your relationship.

5. I saw it somewhere on social media where people were arguing that who gets to greet first in the morning between a husband and wife. Aha, that is also a problem? You mean couples greet themselves? Oh well, I have been thinking maybe I didn't wait to get enough home training before getting married.

6. Why do I always remember the names of people that I know who are dead by the way, bang in the middle of the night? Like I get up to use the restroom and the person or persons full names just comes to me...scary stuff.
