RANDOM MUSINGS

Hello people!! I know I have been missing in action and that is because I have been busy. Work, more hectic than normal because some people clearly do not like peace and they try to foster that on the rest of us.  So, I am usually knackered every evening and no time to write. Sigh.  I just decided to put together some of my random thoughts:  1. The people who send emails asking ''hope this meets you well'' what if I am tired and weak, no your email may not have met me well: keep it moving please 😑  2. Making sure  your sacrifices are valued: you know when you give up something of value for the sake of other people. Be it family or friends, most times we expect gratitude. But think about it, how many times have we been told ''but I didn't ask you to''. When the people you are giving up stuff for, do not know what you have given up they can't appreciate it. 3. Four Eyed Gang!!

A few months ago, reading became kind of strenuous. The head ache accompanying staring at the computer all day was becoming unbearable. Decided to go for an eye examination because I know I have a 20/20 vision , the only things I find difficult are the tiny prints. One hour after, madam you have presbyopia. Growing up, I was that child that was quiet and shy. Who wanted to be accepted by all, so I thought wearing glasses would mean joining the cool kids club.  Then the mission to convince my dad started. This is one man who is not the easiest to convince about anythi...

Fantastic Four.

On this day, exactly 4 years ago I welcomed my 2nd son. I remember I was not due to start my maternity leave but my body was tired. My boss, God bless him insisted that I should proceed on leave with immediate effect. That fateful morning, I just had very spicy noodles and I was still on the same spot when I felt a sharp pain in my back. Considering this second pregnancy was associated with back aches from day one, i didn't think it was something serious.  Then it started feeling like there was a royal rumble going on in my stomach, my mum said oh maybe you put in too much spice in the noodles and went back to her room. I got up to start packing hospital bag because I am such a last minute human being. I am sure there are women who pack hospital bags from the day they find out they are expecting a baby. Anyways, was packing and singing and hoping the pain/discomfort will go away because baby is not due for another two weeks. For every item I picked to put in the bag, there was a sh...
